I bet YaYa is glad we have a new target now.

Give the lad a few uninterrupted months at least before you start picking him apart ffs.

I have read loads of threads about balo, he is not a 'TARGET'. There is no denying the boy is an amazing talent. There is no doubt, he can be one of the world's greatest players, if he fulfills his potential. There is no question, we are behind him as a blue 100% in unison. There is doubt however, in his ATTITUDE, the toys-out-the-pram, tantrums when things don't go his way. He loses out on a perfectly legal shoulder barge, and he sits on the ground, throwing his arms around and eventually get's booked for dissent!

I know in italy, if you go down, it's likely you'll get a decision, but someone needs to tell him to man the fuck up and get on with it. I acknowledge, that the world's greatest at anything can be an absolute nutter and still function, but this is a TEAM game and getting sent off or being banned for games, does not help the team or the cause.

C'mon mario get on those weights with micah, stop whinging and become a legend.
I have to disagree. It seems like there is always someone who falls out of favour. Silva had it early on, then YaYa now Balo. I'm not suggesting that everyone feels that way, but I do think he is getting some unfair criticism for a 20 year old in a new country who spent a couple of months injured and probably still isn't up to speed. Not to mention that the rest of the team probably still don't fully know his strengths and weaknesses and how best to play alongside him yet.

The team is starting to feel like is gelling and this could be a fantastic run in if we cam keep it going and an in tune Balo could be the difference between 1st and 4th.

I just hope that everything works out on the personal side of things and he becomes comfortable living in England and playing in the Premiership.

He's gone through a whole lot for a young player and if there is anyone wqho can get the best out of him it's not Mourinho or Baconface but Mancini.

Too bad his shot against Bolton went off the woodwork and today he missed a closer attempt off a Jo cross.

Forza Balotelli

Mario Balotelli strops for a yellow card and earns a reputation and loads of money....

He's a prima donna but he's our prima donna

And he'll score goals galore for us - if Mancini can manage him

Some people on here??!!?? Surely you can see how good he is? Stop whingeing FFS we are lucky to have him, he will come good (considering he's done well so far scoring a few goals!) He WILL be a City legend with a miserable face. So what, what do you want a smiling Jo?

Some people forget when tevez first came to us...
Now look at his goals.

Balo has strops that infuriate the fuck out of me and many others... But he is growing up here.
Let's make him the b he can be, by getting behind the lad!

He's 19, he's allowed to be a bit of a dick. I know what u mean tho and its something id rather not see.

I think hes just 20 minute mate.

But as a 20 year old you should be out with your mates every night getting pissed and shagging as many birds as you can, being a prick at that age comes natural and he will grow out of it.

But he is just 100% pure raw talent.

Notice the way he changes the team play.

Man City has more composer going ahead with his presence.

Passion burns out, like Tevez.

But style and composure stays.

He only needs a better partner than Jo, more mature and more clinical. Someone like, err, Drogba.

The problem doesn't just lie with Balotelli.

I'll explain....(as best as i can)

Balotelli has come to England under intense media scrutiny to play for a team who are also under intense Media scrutiny. Now, the pundits, the reporters, the opposition fans and quite obviously, even the referees have already made their mind up on the lad, and sadly they've based it his media coverage from Italy. The vast majority haven't really seen him play, and i think that it has been fairly evident with some of the comments made on a number of our newer players this season by so called footballing experts - that they've seen little footage of any of our players, unless we've signed them from another Premiership club.

This has lead to opposition players and supporters targeting him. Unfortunately referees are also doing the same thing. It was happening again today. Numerous bad tackles going unpunished, purely because the player in the receiving end is Balotelli. It's quite disgusting when you actually think about. It's even more disgusting that our own so called fans are falling for the bullshit.

We have signed probably the best 20 year old footballer in the world. He has some attitude issues, but so do most 20 year olds. He is a player who we all need to get behind. I already know it won't happen, as people will have already made their mind up, much like they did with Robinho and Adebayor (both lazy mercenaries etc...).

Such a shame really. He won't be here much longer imo. He's a fantastic player, but too many fans, pundits and reporters have a bizarre agenda which seems to persuade them to only really appreciate the hard-working, but limited footballer. Balotelli is a very special talent, but what use is that when the majority of our own fans are too daft to see it.

seen this read it ...thought back too him getting actually pushed off the ball hands not shoulders he swore at the floor " balo " and then got booked with u on this fella ctid

haters shut up... he is the next big thing of football...
he cud b better than messi...
just give the kid some time...
he was just frustrated that he cudnt score and it ws nice to see he sets high standard 4 himself...

Amen to that.We need a player like him to get where we want to be. I was in the Hammers end and the stick Balo and Silva were getting was unbelievably venomous.Until we scored.I think he's sorting himself out,and Komps,Toure, and De Jong are constantly having a word.He had a good game today,West Ham were
terrified of him.
