Balotelli to Liverpool (merged)

I found his off field antics amusing whilst he was banging the goals in but when the novelty wore off he was just a liability who didn't score anymore.
So I don't care who he plays for as long as he shits on rags chelski and arsenal, and I wouldn't bet on him not getting sent off against us this season after scoring a typically Mario goal.
Brenda's gonna be cursing his name by February

Saw some of the press-conference with Rodgers talking about Mario's behaviour.

He said something about Candlepool being a special club and Mario's must stay in line.

Well if you're that worried, why buy him?

Fucking idiots!

1. Saving face for his comments earlier.

Or

2. It's a committee signing and Rodgers wants Etoo.

Rodgers has bitten off more he can chew on this one. Balotelli hasn't improved all that much since he was playing for City and he didn't enjoy life in England at all.

Brenda will be shocked when he sees him in training at how lazy he is. He's going to have to bend this strict code of conduct a little to accomodate the loon. Its actually going to be entertaining to watch him and fortunately it wont be my blood pressure going up when I watch him sit on his arse time and time again throwing tantrums.

This hurt me inside, my very first City shirt was number 45 with my surname Bruun on it, as a player i hope the best for him, but as our opponent i hope the worst, despite Mario being Mario.

Danish people in general seem a little bit hyped about Balotelli going to Liverpool though.

I was laughing yesterday but now that it has happened I feel sad that we'll see him in liverpool shirt.

Please cheer us a bit by getting sent off in your first match, Mario.

Comment from a dippers fan at work yesterday - "we sold Suarez and bought balotelli, FFS"

made me smile

"Special club" has usurped "doing things the right way" in the lexicon of banal, trite statements surrounding Liverpool Football Club. It smacks of supreme arrogance: 'we're better than other clubs'.

Well you're fucking not and there's plenty of examples, some of them tragic, which underline my point.

That's what I don't understand this 'special club' nonsense.

Every single football fan thinks their club is special that's why we love them.

OK the rags and scousers have won more trophies but even when we were complete bobbins in the third tier I wouldn't swap a quid for a season ticket anywhere else.
I,ve just heard him call them a "family club". What does that mean even? I think he just comes out with every cliché he can when asked a question.

He's already been part of a couple of different families since he arrived so he does have a point.
