I dont see any turning back for Balotelli at the mo.
His team "mates" have spoken up that they think he should leave.

We are offering Inter the best deal up to now.

Hopefully there are just a few loose ends left

It's the same old boring Italian shit day in, day out now. They are so annoying.

As I understand it the main hitch where the add on clauses..Inter wanting to make sure that they get a bundle if he turns out to be as good as we believe.

But it doesn´t sound impossible to resolve.

True. And I remember City saying how complex and legalistic a footballer's contract these days. They write it, check it with their lawuers. amend it; sent it back to the barrister, amend it again and on and on ad nauseum
All three parties to the transfer are usually paranoid that they might get shafted. I think it was Gary Cook who mentioned this re the Tevez deal, if anyone remembers?

Massimo Moratti has stated that negotiations between Inter Milan and Manchester City over the possible sale of Mario Balotelli are still taking place.

City manager Roberto Mancini is looking to mount a challenge for the Premier League title this season and has already been busy strengthening his squad this summer.

Having recruited David Silva, Yaya Toure and Jerome Boateng, Mancini is keen to bring in further reinforcements.

Inter striker Balotelli is among the players on his radar and talks have begun over a deal to take the 19-year-old to Eastlands.

It looked like there would be no new developments for at least a few days when Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola said on Wednesday that discussions would not conclude this week.

However, Inter president Moratti has now declared that negotiations are ongoing as the two clubs look to strike an agreement.

"At this moment there are contacts with Manchester City, but we must find an agreement that satisfies both us and them," Moratti told Sky Sports 24.

Reports in Italy suggest City have offered £22.8million in an effort to prise the youngster away from Inter.

It's certainly looking good. With good coaching this kid could become a superstar, and I think Mancini is the one manager that Balotelli respects after he brought him through and gave him his break. Hughes and Bellamy anyone?
