name me one team that could afford to pay that money for a 19 year old in the current climate. Dispite what people are saying on here he is not yet the finished article and will not play every game. he will need time to adapt and develop.

that's an interesting question, but you could ask why Inter, Real, Arsenal, Chelsea et al didn't compete for Yaya, Kolarov, Silva, players they had been strongly linked with previously.
