TBH, even if he registered in time, I'm not sure he'll be totally match fit as Inter's pre-season would be circa 2 weeks behind ours.

Yeah, it's midday. He wont be able to play v Spurs. But to be honest, i don't think he would have done anyway because he's not had much of a pre-season really.
