One of the softest players I've ever seen at City and we've had Robinho!! He needs to man up if he wants to make it in the Prem.

Mario did ok IMO, one poster earlier in the thread compared him to Anelka which isn't a bad comparison. One almost casual flick to send Tevez clear was pure class. Like Anelka his off the ball movement goes largely unnoticed and yesterday it was unnoticed by Silva and Tevez who both failed to play him in behind the defence when he made good runs.
I liked the way he kept his temper in check despite a couple of disgraceful challenges that went unpunished by that clown Walton. He'll get better as the season goes on.

These threads are pointless, because he will divide blues 50/50 for as long as he is here.
'Small time' fans who want to see passion, effort and commitment and sacrifice ability will hate him. There are still many City fans like that who love the likes of Dickov for his commitment and want to see similar passion from any player in a blue shirt. Nothing wrong with that, but we wont have success.
Then theres the other group of fans who recognise the above doesnt give success and sometimes you need these arrogant cocky sods with huge ego's because it adds a dimension to their play that makes them unstoppable. Cantona, Ronaldo et al. Those fans will love Balotelli because of his ability.
Its a total rarity to find a player who has the committment and the ability. Tevez for example. How many are like him?
Fans have to accept that top players bring top ego's more times than not. You have to accept that fact and get on with it.
Every team needs an arrogant shit, he's ours, and I wouldnt swap him for any other.
