Balotelli

What happened tonight had nothing to do with his attitude and everything to do with him not being good enough. All this 'yeah, he's not been great but he has the potential to be world class' simply blows my mind. We got away with it today but why Mancini risks his job on someone who doesn't have it, which seems to be the opinion of most pundits, ex-pros and the most sought after manager in the world. It's just crazy.

But he is clearly good enough...when on form.
The question is, was tonight (his poorest game for us imo) down to attitude or loss of form..? cos if its the latter he's not the only one and can be excused..

Thankfully Sergio took a great pen, but had Mario been on the field it would have been a goal soon as the ref pointed to the spot.

I wish I was wrong and maybe I'd want us to persevere with him if we was a team like Blackburn but even if you think he's got it (which is fair enough), it's beyond dispute that he's unreliable and inconsistent. It's also beyond dispute that the richest club in the world does not need to rely on someone who is inconsistent and unreliable.

Was not expecting him to miss because he is one of the best natural finishers I have seen at his age. Looking forward to him having an excellent next match

He shanked it. Was not a clean contact at all.

Happens to every player. Especially Sergio.

I wouldn't really say he's inconsistent, I can count his poor games on one hand.. unreliable is a fair point (apart from pens, at which he's the best I've ever seen) I don't think he should be an auto choice at mo, but I'd hate to see him playin for someone else in a couple of yrs.. I think we should keep him as long as possible, but not necc always play him this season.

It seems like Mario is taking cues from Ibrahimovic as far as behavior is concerned. Trouble is, to get away with such behavior one has to deliver on the field, not occasionally, all the time.
He's definitely a keeper, Mancini or no Mancini. He's bound to sort things out eventually.

Said for a while now that he is well overrated. But last answer I got was fuck off. Fans who back him will see him destroy our title chances. This world class striker could not even get a one on to one on target. last week argued with YaYa at half time. This week with Nasri. Does not know how to get back & help the team out. He's a character & nothing else. The sooner we see the back of him the better. Bellamy who always put a shift in was sent packing. Mancini did'nt like his attitude so why not his love child?
so fuck off again wouldnt be the correct response .Ok but Bellamy?? come on mate even KG cant justify playing him in a side thats 7th or 8th

I don't think he mentioned the game/result in the bit I heard. Apparently he was co commentator (I was at the game so no idea), but the whole five live report suggested we were lucky to win/chelsea were unlucky not to get a point, more f**king anti city bias, and just a load of rubbish.
