Is it time City and all connected, banned this horrible piece of shit.

To be honest, we should have done it years ago after all the shit about Marc Vivien Foe. It is quite easy to see that it isn't just a one off. Custis x 2, Ashton, Ian Wright, etc have had a serious agenda against this club more recently.

The Foe stuff
Garry Cook
Balotelli throwing darts at youth team players
Balo's car being pounded and parking tickets
All the Kia leaks
ADD MORE IF YOU WISH

I remember this quote in particular maybe because it is more recent after the Community Shield.

THIS was a result to make football itself stand up and cheer.
And not just because the Bad Guys got a punch on the nose from the Good Guys.

This was also a victory for the vibrancy of youth. And for the way teams and clubs should be built.

Liverpool and now Cardiff have the right idea. Do we seriously need to listen and take their shite anymore? Hit them where it hurts and ban them or boycott them.

Re: Ban The Sun???

Wasn't it The Sun who made up the story about our players being given watches as gifts in the UAE, then had to post a (small print) apology after legal threats (back when the club still had some balls in dealing with them)?

Re: Ban The Sun???

Nah, I like to buy it when I'm in Liverpool so I can leave it on tables for the scousers to read.

Re: Ban The Sun???

What sort of person actually takes pride in working for such a wretched trashy rag?, Sun Journos are on a par with bailifs, traffic wardens etc..pond life.

Re: Ban The Sun???

As much as I agree with your hatred of the Sun (and hopefully of tabloids in general) I can't see banning them will make the slightest bit of difference. All I can see it achieving is giving them more ammunition.
The Sun are so big and powerful they can 'do what they want' (I've heard that before somewhere!). All we can do is wait until we are big enough that it isn't in their interest anymore, which I don't think is too far away. Not that I think that will stop them (there'll still be plenty of money to be made from shit-stirring) but it will be at a level we can probably live with.

Re: Ban The Sun???

Thing is - they make money off topics like this.
when people post up news stories everyday on Bluemoon and other city fansites, we all click the links to read the stories and give them advertising revenue.

Maybe the Admin staff here should ban the URL thesun.co.uk so any news article linking to it becomes void?

This!

If we arnt willing to help ourselves then why do we expect the club to do it?

Re: Ban The Sun???

It will never happen, sadly.
However, if you see this guy tomorrow

— the Sun's 'man in Manchester' Neil Custis — perhaps making his way from the press scumbag accreditation centre in that old pub behind the Mercedes garage, heading towards entrance S just to the right of the big main entrance, then feel free to let him know how you feel.

PMSL i thought I was an ugly ****, that guys got the head of a giant potato.

What an ugly bastard even his mother couldn't love that face.

Re: Ban The Sun???

Banning them would push them further away from us thus further away from any truth. They'd end up printing even more unfounded shit with an actual axe to grind through the bitterness of being banned!

Is that Platt's younger brother?

Re: Ban The Sun???

Its the biggest mystery why any jouurnalist who has caused City harm would be allowed anywhere near the stadium or training complex. We dont help ourselves.

A sun journalist is like being a traffic warden you wouldnt let anyone know you do this for a living because you're just a piece of shit to society.
