Not originally, Malcom and Angus Glasgow born and they are ac/dc really and Bon Scott was from Kirriemuir Scotland.Not having ac/dc either. Geordie and Aussies.

Back in the day, Brendan ‘Bunny’ O’Hare, collaborator in Mogwai and also drummer in Teenage Fanclub and three others, me included, started in music busking in Glasgow. We made a relative fortune for young guys. Used to take in about £150 a day back in 86. We got asked to play many clubs and events by people just listening.
On one occasion a guy from the Orange Order asked us to play at his Lodge, we were all Catholics, but we did it. Went down a storm. :)

Have only ever briefly passed through Glasgow but I've got a couple of mates living up there now so I'm hoping to spend a few days up there soon. Always seems to a have top underground music scene there

If you have mates there, they should know the best places to go for music. You will have a good time. It’s a great place for a visit. Like everywhere there are places and pubs to avoid, unless ofcourse you have someone in the group who is known, then even in the hardest pubs you are accepted as a friend. Hope you enjoy it. If you let me know when you plan to visit I will ask about to se if there is anything happening worth visiting,

Change of plan; i'm still not having ac/dc. Formed in Oz in 1973 is a million miles away from being a band from Glasgee.
