Couldn't make the game today. Were the banners back? Was that awful women back again singing bluemoon?

All banners back up, no woman singing, but a guy with a guitar instead; sounded like we're going to get a different rendition of Blue Moon via some no-mark every home game...
On the pitch singing? if so ffs

Yep, on the pitch, microphone stand and a big intro.

Silence from the City fans, boos from the Hull fans... it was pretty painful. They actually seem to have ditched the pre-kickoff Blue Moon that people sang to in favour of these live acts.

Who organises this crap? would be embarrassing as hell if they do it for the derby.

It's abolauteoy all over the place, I think. Too much chat from a load of nobodies who I couldn't give a frig what they think, not enough music over the tannoy (just actual songs from a CD).

It's all:

Nothing cool about the whole pre/halftime/post match stuff.

I'm really angry about the ditching of the Blue Moon over the PA. There's 3 reasons why doing it the "let's have an unknown bloke do it" way is bad

1. Blue Moon's timing is just before kick-off, the cameras then get to cover it and we all get to demonstrate one of City's trademarks
2. Doing it at that time also has the stadium full, 10 minutes before hand there's no bugger in there!
3. It hypes the team up as it's just after the handshake but right before kick-off

City need to change it back, it's not working this way. The Derby is gonna be a joke if it IS like that

I think they've organised JedWard for the pre-match pitch sing along for derby day.

With Hugh Ferris holding up cue cards.

Getting singers on the pitch before the match is up there with piped chanting for me. Done it for Newcastle and Hull, and both times they've been properly cringeworthy. Idea needs binning pronto.

The best pre-match atmosphere was for the last derby at Maine Road when the PA failed and the fans made some noise.
However those running the "match day experience" want control and don't believe the supporters should do their own thing.

Now we've even got the cheesy club made surfer flag we used to surf very well[I must add!] from the corner to the half way line before the match, and cheesy club made stick flags, being brought out and unveiled by randoms on the pitch lead by a bloke with a headphones/microphone set choreographing them.

It's all starting to become a bit if a joke, pre-match.
