Competition at the local primary school. They are really unbelievably shit aren’t they regardless of the wording. If you are going to take a banner, at least put a bit of effort in.

The third one is arguably racist. Either way, the first and the third one are showing blatant disrespect towards our owner who has given them the success they are fortunate to witness today. I think the first and third ones certainly deserve some sort of ban. The second I can let slip.

I think we’re heading into dangerous territory if you think fans should be banned for a “Sack the Board” banner, no matter how misguided it may be. The third one, I agree, is pretty dubious to say the least.

I don't agree with any of the banners. The notion that fans should come first, then football, then owners is fantasy. IMO at least.

Yes fans are great to add atmosphere and to make the whole industry work. Otherwise it'd be League of Ireland. :-)

But sport is about the effort that people with talent put into it - on and off the field. The rest of us are hangers on. We are "the snail on the tail of the whale".

Bugs me when any nutter throwing a bottle, shouting abuse or holding a banner represents everyone else.

I feel like shit when we lose and am so happy when we win but truly I'm just a "consumer".

I have supported & led strikes in the health service & supported many demonstrations & have been vocal in many things & I have disagreed with what City have done over the years
But I have learned their is a time and place to pick your battles
