I must have just sneaked under the fence.

Did you go with Thomas Cook? They had some flexibility to take people on lower points in order to fill the plane.

Nope. I did 4 days with the missus independently.

I had applied on the thomas cook job, but they cancelled my application due to not meeting points criteria, i think they did open the flight up to people without tickets to fill the plane.

Them flights and ticket allocations were a farce last year. Put it this way one of the branches (not hard to guess who) must have had nearly 100 on one of the flights and they all had tickets I was talking to a lad who was no where near having enough points for the game but got one as he booked the full trip through the branch. I would not be surprised if Thomas Cook had not been in an agreement with that branch and they guaranteed them a set amount of match tickets.

I wonder how the sales are going ?

Just been to the ground to collect my ticket. The guy asked me to choose from a seating plan which showed about 25 seats still available in the 2 blocks he had for sale. I was a bit surprised to learn that, in this age of technology, each section (ie counter sales, telephone and Internet) still have their own separate allocation of tickets so I assume his 2 blocks have been on sale since Monday.
One thing he did say was that the club have been told that away supporters will have to sit in the specific seat allocated to their ticket. I'll believe that when I see it!

We've got 4,700 tickets haven't we. I'd guess that was maybe 5 blocks, mines in 532. The plan he showed me looked like it was about 1,000 seats. He did say that they were bracing themselves for an onslaught for tickets if we get a good result on Tuesday which is understandable.

At least seven blocks as blocks 533 - 527 were on sale on line on day 1
