Barca away criteria announced

I thought there was plenty of empty seats last year in the city end or there was near me far right hand side near the segregation.

Wasn't a great atmosphere to be honest looking round once the game kicked off and I was the same so not having a pop, everyone was steaming.... ha

Hopefully this year the game will be closer and will lead to a better atmosphere...

The game sold out in the blink of an eye last year, mate. We could have sold double. But they made it 'sit anywhere'.

You'll never get a good atmosphere without a roof I'm afraid. Simple as that.

I agree going to a place like Barcelona everything is against you, seen as your up in the gods and like you said no roof, but hoping for a better atmosphere depending on the first leg result.

I had to speak to the ticket office about something else today, and I mentioned barca criteria, the lad said "keep an eye out tomorrow for an announcement about criteria"

Yes, they announce that the next points down can now buy

As there are no concessions, do they even mark kids tickets differently?

My mate says he qualifies to buy kids tickets with his qualifying adult tickets, would I be able to get in on that ticket considering it's still 74 quid or would it not work? Anyone have experience with this last year?

Last year was the most bizarre I have seen at a Euro away match.................. around where I sat so many people were either falling over drunk or fast asleep it was like a morgue!!
That's the effect you have on people Sheila.

*falls off chair laughing*. I hadn't thought of that. But at least it meant I could sit down & watch the match. :-)

It was very surreal. I had a guy sat next to me the entire match on the end of the row, head in between his legs fast asleep for the entire 90 minutes. I mean i was in something of a state myself but to be that bad that you miss the entire game and probably have no memory of even being in the ground is pretty pointless. I think it was mainly due to it being the first time we had made it to the knockouts and it was something of a novelty and a one-off occasion, was probably thousands there without tickets. I very much doubt that will be the case this year.
