Barca away criteria

Already paid for the day for two people a few weeks back. Pretty sure we'll be alright for tickets but if not then I'm jipping in.

Just a small note to some Bluemooners. Jipping into the ground is a totally illegal act that up to 1,000 fans do every massive game.

I personally know a United fan related through marriage who went over there for their game and literally walking into the ground a couple of hours earlier in a side door used by the TV crew. He has pictures the entire way through in case people doubt the story and he has done this on every visit post 2000.

More than a few at the Newcastle game without tickets, including 3 that kept trying to nick my spot!

I have already booked on a Thomas Cook pacakge so hoepfully now the tickets don't sell out and I am to spend a day in sunny Barcelona.

I know mate, but hopefully I am able to get two tickets. I have a sneaky feeling the allocation will increase cause some clubs have received 7000 tickets before.

No way the allocation will increase. City will have already requested the most they can have, knowing the huge demand for the game. And the way Barca have priced it shows they are expecting big demand their end too.

It's always okay to have a bit of hope and also you never know. City might be waiting to see what the speed is like when the tickets go on sale due to the high price and could request a bigger allocation if the tickets are in high demand.

Is that what you're on? If so, I would start trying supporter clubs etc. Not trying to be pessimistic but you won't get one on those points.

I would try the supporters clubs but there aren't any in my area. The closest being a 20 mile drive, I just remaining optimistic for now and if not I'll be on to operation ticket pleading.
