So can I take it every home and every away will be sold out from now on. You know so all the moaners can boost their points total ?

Thought not.

You are missing the point you idiot , the point is the system is flawed whereby someone on less points can get a ticket ahead of someone who has more.

I'll talk slowly so you get it.

It doesn't matter who is in the seat as it's qualified for that ticket via the system. So either the guy goes or a friend does. Had the guy gone it would exclude the people on fewer points anyway.

Now of course had the people with lesser points attended more games rather than just glamour ties they too would be in the higher points bracket.

The people who now have the choice of whether to go or not were attending games when we were dog shit.
Hence their points tally.

You really are a smug, patronising get aren't you? The ticket is sold to the person who qualifies for it to attend. He or she does not have the right to sell it. I said earlier in the thread that a friend has a ticket who has not been to one single game all season and has never held a season ticket. Do you really, honestly think he should be there ahead of the next person in the queue who missed out by maybe one away game in is lifetime? And I don't mean me, I really do mean the next person who missed out on the final day of sales.

I think the points system is okay but not perfect. I also said earlier we will end up the Manchester United way where you have to use their travel options. And abuse such as this, which you condone, will be one of the reasons. I'll look forward to your views on it when it happens.

I want to know how some people get hold of the tickets, I found out last night that a not very famous ex city player from the 60's had two and has sold them to a blue for £250 each. How the fuck is this allowed to happen?

Name and shame the fooker, Charlie.

Unless you are 100% sure then don't. These rumours are utter bullshit at least 99% of the time. Everyone on here once went on some daft witchhunt because shinawatra had taken 1000 united away tickets for his mates. Only a few weeks ago The sheikh had taken a whole block of Barca tickets for a school.

Chinese whispers with lashings of bullshit, nearly always.

Its not bullshit its 100% the truth, I can't name the player because the person who has bought them is a family friend and it would just end up with him getting a load of grief, I don't want to make his life a misery

After thinking we missed out, we got confirmation today from Thomas Cook that we're on the trip with tickets!!! Get in!! 3 of us had 9500 plus points and one 8800!! All of us got tickets. Thomas Cook have separate allocation.
Lucky for the guy without enough points, as I've more points, and didn't get a ticket, a TC trip for me isn't practical as I live 3 hours from Manchester, plus I wanted 2 nights out there.

Still going, confident I'll be in the stadium.

Nothing personal against the one with 8800 and has got on it but I think this is wrong. Ever since we got into Europe there has been questions asked about the TC trips and suspicions that if you book with them then you may get on it without having the right number of points.

I always trusted they stuck to the rules but this now confirms they don't. I can understand it, from a business point of view when TC have empty seats on their place they are not going to want to cancel a booking for 4 because one person is 200 short but tell that to the people with more points who missed out. Like I say nothing against the guy who has got on it, I am pleased for anyone who is going, and to be fair he was only just short of the 9k so it's not like he was way off.

I know it does happen because I've benefited from it in the past. I think that they only do it if you're within a couple of hundred points. It isn't fair but I can see why the club allow them to do it. I did think of booking a TC trip this time just to increase my chances as I knew I would be borderline. Fortunately just scraped in. I can see a TC trips becoming in greater demand for these games which might not go down too well with other tour operators.

i think i saw you with a half n half scarf on

Stop crying.....

I have 11460 points and can't go the game. The lad who sits in front of me asked for a ticket who only has 6000 points and asked if I could apply for a ticket for him.

I got him the ticket and he sent me £80 (£3 for a pint he said) the day before I qualified for a ticket.

I would happily apply for a ticket for a friend or anybody who asked on here if I wasnt going to the game and they couldnt get a ticket.....

So all the people moaning about not getting a ticket would not take the opportunity of a ticket from somebody with points who isnt going to the game????

I dont thnk we have sold out for Norwich yet so now's your chance to "point build"

See you at Carrow Road.....Maybe
