No idea if the site is legit either, but the robbing bastards want 53 euros per ticket handling fee on top of the ticket price, and then 28 euros delivery. 2 tickets at the cheapest price cam back at £350+.

Lucky for the guy without enough points, as I've more points, and didn't get a ticket, a TC trip for me isn't practical as I live 3 hours from Manchester, plus I wanted 2 nights out there.

Still going, confident I'll be in the stadium.

Nothing personal against the one with 8800 and has got on it but I think this is wrong. Ever since we got into Europe there has been questions asked about the TC trips and suspicions that if you book with them then you may get on it without having the right number of points.

I always trusted they stuck to the rules but this now confirms they don't. I can understand it, from a business point of view when TC have empty seats on their place they are not going to want to cancel a booking for 4 because one person is 200 short but tell that to the people with more points who missed out. Like I say nothing against the guy who has got on it, I am pleased for anyone who is going, and to be fair he was only just short of the 9k so it's not like he was way off.

I always had a sneaking suspicion they did this too- they must have an allocation they need to fill and therefore give to those who apply. But I think he has just been lucky with this. I haven't got onto the TC- I have 7,000. Plus, the fact that they have advertised flight only would indicate they have places left on the plane, as a result of the number who booked to go with TC, but didn't get tickets.

I have 11460 points and can't go the game. The lad who sits in front of me asked for a ticket who only has 6000 points and asked if I could apply for a ticket for him.

I got him the ticket and he sent me £80 (£3 for a pint he said) the day before I qualified for a ticket.

I would happily apply for a ticket for a friend or anybody who asked on here if I wasnt going to the game and they couldnt get a ticket.....

So all the people moaning about not getting a ticket would not take the opportunity of a ticket from somebody with points who isnt going to the game????

I dont thnk we have sold out for Norwich yet so now's your chance to "point build"

Point about Carrow Road is spot on. It is a tough place to get to etc, and there may be valid reasons people can't go, but if you want to make the glamour ties, you have to go to the 'less glamourous' games to build up the points. I'm going, and I hope I am rewarded in the future for it. Alongside the fact that I obviously want to go...!!!

Not sure , i should be admitting this, but needs must and all that.

I also bought from Viagogo, yesterday around 4pm (block in front of City fans), the robbing bastards (£169 after their add ons) only went and delivered it this morning, (so they are a bunch of thieves, but bloody efficient thieves).

If others are contemplating buying from them you need to go on Viagogo.com (not the Uk site, as they don't list Barca v City tickets)

I have no doubt that the Viagogo tickets are legit (hope so cos I've bought 2). My only concern is that they may not deliver them to a UK address. I have a horrible feeling that I may get an e-mail from them a few days before the game saying this and refunding my money.

I've paid £170 for each of the tickets. Although I'm not happy paying that, I've already spent £1200 for three of us for flights/hotel and my ticket. So another £200 above face value so we all get in - it had to be done.


I spoke to a guy who has been to the Nou Camp 20+ times as part of his job. He advised me:

Buy tickets in the "General Area". This is considered to the neutral area (similar to Fulham) and gets filled with tourists. No real Barca fan would be seen in there.

The General Area is on level 5. The Nou camp is an open bowl and you can walk around different areas (except VIP) similar to at Bayern Munich. He is not certain but reckons the segregation is normally that lax you may be able to walk into the City area unhindered (his words).

City fans should have no problem getting into the Barca areas of the ground as long as they do not show colours. Behind the goals is where the more hardcore Barca fans sit, particularly the North end. If you let it known you are a City fan in there you may get thrown out. At the sides and the general areas you will probably get away with it as long as you don't take the piss.

He reckons that there definitely will be tickets available before the match from touts/season ticket holders but will be pricey, prices come right down close to kick off (last 15 mins or so) if you are prepared to chance it. I'm taking my lad with me so don't want to risk it as he will be gutted if he doesn't get in.

I've just received an e-mail from Viagogo confirming that the tickets have been dispatched, only ordered them earlier this afternoon, so it looks like UK address is OK.

Made me realise that my ticket from City hasn't come yet, ordered it on Friday. Any one else not got their's from last week? Not worried..........Yet.
