Pissed off, got two adult season tickets, but want to take my 8yr old son, they charged me full adult price plus 5.00 booking fee, 105.00 to take my son to see it, joke

My mate rang today as a relocator from 210. They downgraded an adult to a Jnr and didn't charge a booking fee. £50 & £30 respectively.

Try ringing customer service rather than the ticket line.

Can I use my supporter number to purchase home tickets for someone who is a different age?

Information

Details
If a supporter number used is that of an adult, then only an adult ticket may be used. This also applies to under 16s and over 65s. It is important that you have purchased, and are in possession of, the correct ticket and that it is activated to allow you access in to the stadium. If the supporter who originally purchased the ticket is no longer able to attend the match, please contact the Supporter Services team on 0161 444 1894 (option 1, then option 3) to discuss, and where appropriate, upgrade your ticket. Failure to upgrade your ticket before you attempt to enter the ground may result in a stadium ban.

Am I being stupid or is this not clear, it doesn't appear to answer its own question.

My maine hope would be that genuine City fans can get tickets, as last seasons game in the North Stand level 2 was something like the Muppet Show - full of overseas tourists and people who clearly weren't City fans. How they got all the tickets, god knows but Id wager they hadn't been to The Etihad before or since that game.

One bloke in the row in front took photos every 2 mins; when he went to leave with 5 mins to go, my mate tapped him on the shoulder and said sarcastically "see you on Saturday for the Stoke game."

I'm afraid it will be like this again city could probably sell 60,000 tickets for this game at that price so can't really blame them but it would be nice to see 45,000 genuine blues in the ground being charged £40 tops! Still looking forward to it even if I won't have a clue what people are saying around me!
Well if you've gone to enough games over the last couple of years you should have the requisite number of points to apply early. With FFP in place the club haven't really got much choice but to make as much cash as possible on these sort of games.

The fact that they are still operating a points-privilege system means that us regulars are still in a preferential position, I guess the club don't have to do it.

someone said this game last year sold out around 1000 points. but we'll see, hope you're right.
I don't think I had that many points last year (changed my customer number and lost all previous points) but I still got tickets for me and my son, and I'm not in the cup scheme.

Can't complain and must give credit where due.

Online at 09:05 yesterday ordered 3 tickets, 08:30 this morning 3 tickets for Barcelona drop through the letter box.

Well done City , well done ticket office.
