Barca ticket prices announced

I am probably going to watch on tv. I have only been to 7 games this season so far including 2 of those away despite having a season ticket. A multitude of factors, watching my daughter play football on a Saturday has been more enjoyable, was away for a few of the xmas games, couldn't be arsed messing about sorting tickets for a couple and also the cost in some cases. I can afford it but would rather than spend the money on something else these days. - I looked at taking my dad and the 3 kids to barca and it was approaching 200 pounds. I would rather go to Chester zoo for the day or something. Plus the atmosphere has been dire this season. I left early vs burnley, Chelsea and Cska as I was bored! Been a huge comedown in performance from last season. Not going to bother with a season ticket next season as I can enjoy doing more fun stuff. And maybe even going to a random lower league game. Unfortunately the matches have felt a little bit like a chore this season at times!! I think the only 2 I have really enjoyed were the rags and bayern games. City can't take loyal fans for granted. (Match going fan since 1983)
a take it that WHEN,we get to the final, you will be quite happy to step aside and let someone with a bit of enthusiasm and passion for the club have your place

Ped - I have been to over 500 city games and didn't miss a single game in division 2 home or away. Been to maybe 60 ground following City.

I work 50 hours Monday to Friday and try and have a good day with my kids on Saturdays. I am guessing you are in your teens or twenties. It doesn't make me less of a city fan if I don't feel the need to go to every game these days - life changes. I am entitled to say I have not enjoyed the match day experience this season. I drive over the mancunian way every morning and night - just sometimes I don't want to do that at weekend.

As for finals - maybe. Depends if I fancied it! That ok?

I knew somebody was going to post that.

Even if you opt out for a few matches this season, and if you've amassed enough loyalty points, you will still get a CL cup final ticket, providing you have enough loyalty points.

Even I haven't been arsed sometimes this season. Think I missed Palace at home.

If we're being honest there's just too much football. And more importantly, it's getting more and more expensive.

You made some valid points. I opted out of the FA cup. Glad I did too after that pile of shite the other day, learned my lesson after Newcastle in the capital cup. Not going to barca is purely financial too as the cash just wasn't going to be in the bank for city to take so I dropped the scheme. I was a little sad about it at the time but now I'm actually looking forward to watching it on TV. I spend enough as it is on city but it's getting too much right now. Also have the final SC payment going out next month too so I have to be frugal

If we got to Wembley again I would go corporate next time in club Wembley and treat my old man! He goes to about 5 games a season, and has been going since 1947.

I know the feeling.

Some days I just wish City had proper ticket exchange system that worked so that I could opt out when I've got other shit on that is more important.

Before anyone presses the Quote button, I aint having ago at City, just expressing a wish. Today I found out the Rags are charging fans £37 to watch the FA Cup replay against Cambridge. It's things like that make me grateful I chose City.

Try cityticketx on twitter they advertise for people that want to get rid of there tickets as a one off for face value or less

TBH I don't think I'd go. Who wants my ticket!?

I enjoyed the United semi-final win. My back went(slipped disc) in the final against stoke and I spent 3/4's of the match on the concourse in agony. I spent most of the Chelsea game on the concourse drinking and speaking to some stewards. Wigan was just shit. Sunderland was OK, apart from the Wembley matchday experience.(again)

Had enough of the Wembley PLC matchday experience. Not to mention getting to and from Wembley. Did I mention the cost?

I loved it vs United. Was great v Stoke. Average v Wigan - ruined by pissed and coked up scummy fans sat near me. Went down for the Sunderland game and ended up going to see Charlie and the chocolate factory at the theatre instead! Ped would have me shot. I had my match ticket in my pocket as well.
