I wouldn't say that, he CAN defend, and is much more effective going forward.

I'd say play him as a wing back, but that would involve playing a back three, and you don't want to hear my opinion on back 3's :P

(They don't fuckin work, Gelson Fernandes scored against a back 3)
 
If you can take Messi and Xavi out of the game, it weakens Barca by about 50%. Just an extremely hard task to succeed at.
 
Well bloody Nora, 3-1 and could easily be more. Who'd have thunk it. Barca could do with a goal here.

Don't think the rags would go anywhere near him, funnily enough. I think he might end up at Madrid. I hope he comes to City, though. The only reservation if he stumps up at Eastlands is how it would suddenly become all about Mouriniho as opposed to being all about City. Small price to pay, though, and personally speaking, he could attention seek to his heart's content as long as he delivered.
