Barcelona Information Thread

There is a great Irish bar about 200 metres from Barceloneta beach which was rocking last time. If you head from the Ramblas, past the harbour (on your right) it's on the left. Most City fans last time stayed around the beach..mind you it was 96 degrees! Can't wait. If we go out of the Champions League at least us fans can do it in style.

Anyone done or doing the tour of the Camp Nou ? Been looking at details and didn't know whether it's worth pre-booking or not. Anyone with any knowledge or details, and whether it's worth pre-booking ? Read the usual blurb about there being queues but if you've pre-booked you go straight in.

Gonna do this on the Monday, risk it and just roll up same price pre-booking compared to doing it on the day, I'm there four days so if its busy just go for a beer.................manana as they say

I've never pre-booked but it can't do any harm to do so as it will be busy around this time. Don't do it on the day of the match itself though as you only get to do about half the tour.

in the next few days everyone should be able to buy tickets directly from the Barca web site. prices will start from around 96 euros..

Tip keep going back via the tab back to the main page as tickets will randomly appear ,as and when members release them.

go to our game atm it will say to come back a few days before the game .

There could be a problem in some cases if you have to go to the ticket office instead of printing it off. You will need to show your passport and being British and due to uEfa rullings they are not allowed to give it to you if you are from the same country of the team that´s the other team. however at times I have seen blatent turning the blind eye.

Btw i live in Barcelona , for 7 years , blue from moss side .. been reprensenting us since I got here we got beat by Reading 1-0 away. (SP)

Been chuffed to bits since...

Bars lads.. pLEase CHECK my posts over the next few days ..... few bars cheap beer foodnear the center easy to get to the ground..

Yeah I've done it and it was worth the visit. We didn't pre book but obviously there will be more interest next week than there was last June so probably best to. Be interested to know what people think of it, I can imagine the swamp tour is something similar. It's naturally going to be really 'pro Barca' but I just felt a bit uncomfortable about the level of self praise and arrogance almost like they were hell bent on world domination of football. Maybe It's a City thing and Barca don't take the piss out of themselves the way we do, or maybe they've just never played York City away and other teams don't sing "where were you when you were shit" at them.

Apologies. I'm responding to this thread simply so I can find it again at a later point in order to benefit from all the helpful info provided by fellow blues.

Trust me, it makes sense at my end for me to do it this way. (My bookmark list is not an option.)

Many thanks to those who provided info, I appreciate it.
