Can posters with any knowledge or advice about Barcelona please post it in here.

I'm sure many Blues like myself who have never been to Barcelona would find it very helpful.

Here goes.

Currently looking for a Hotel/area in Barcelona that is near the centre, near tourist attractions, bars, etc, with easy access to the Nou Camp.

Thanks.

Been a couple of times, few of us booked in apartment just off las ramblas(easy to get to from airport & on metro to camp nous).apartment that sleeps 8,€360 for 2 nights, looks half decent ,between 6'of us works out at roughly £25 per night.

Anyone looking for a really good hotel, obviously at a price, try the Princesa Gran Sofia which is a 5*. Stayed there last time we played them in 2009.
5 minutes walk from the Nou Camp, and was an absolute pleasure to stay there. Would recommend to all willing to pay the price. I'm already booked on and can't wait, roll on March!

Beautiful City
Great history and culture

2 circular buses links all the important sites of the City (buy one ticket: hop on ; hop off)
really useful I: includes the Camp Nou.. btw .. don't forget to do the barca footy museum tour

beware pickpockets , especially in Las Ramblas, where everyone tends to relax watching the 'animated statues'

Otherwise

have a great time (wish I was with you , lucky bastards !!)..

Will it be warm/hot?
Should we worry about Spanish hooligans?
Would sitting in the home section be a sensible option/possibility?
What are the sleaze provisions (with price indications)?
Will we win?

-- Mon Dec 16, 2013 10:57 pm --

Will it be warm/hot?
