I'm surprised there isn't a separate thread on Barcelona, but the 5 players they have signed cant play until Barca slash their wage bill...

Yeah, you'd think that even despite all their financial issues they'd be too big a club to go bust as there would always be a queue of sponsors, etc, willing to put money in but that's by no means a given these days and even if it was would it be enough to get them out of the shit? Everything they're doing to try and sort their finances out smacks of simply kicking the can down the road.

They are generating massive problems down the road even with them being in the shit right now. It is highly possible that they will piss off a load of players creating a toxic dressing room. If they finish outside CL places how many years can they afford to do that? Can they even afford 1 year out of the CL?

They could do with instead of spending money bribing uefa to try and do us over spending the money on themselves to look at their own shit accounts and actions.
