I've a serious question that maybe someone in here could give an answer to? Why isint any governing body of football looking into the Barcelona situation? Considering what's going on with money owed wages owed splashing on new players they can't afford its beyond farcical
The honourable Gary (nosy twat) Neville is on the case…

Hypothetical question but if YOU were the president what would you do to help the club?
I've written about 3 replies to this then got rid, I've come to the conclusion that they are fucked.

If someone came in with ideas of being frugle for a few years to drop the outgoings & service the debt, they'd be voted out.

They have the same problem as our red neighbours. They thought they were more than they are. A belief they would always have success, and an overdependance on an academy that over produced for a generation.

It’s ridiculous really. Why they didn’t build around the promising youngsters they had and accept a few years of finishing 2-4th I don’t know.

Didn’t they miss out on approx 175m when refusing to sell Messi to us taking the transfer fee, wages and loyalty bonus into account?

Barca are now trying to say the contract renewal for deJong made by the previous board was corrupt and illegal and they are filing criminal charges. If, IF they were to succeed they wouldn't have to pay the money they owe him but surely it means he no longer has a contract so could sign for Chelsea on a free.
Have they thought this through?
