Outnumber their midfield and hit them on the break quickly with Navas, Milner, and Aguero. Silva and Yaya pulling strings and overlapping along with full backs from time to time. (Not a game for Sagna as he has no clue on how to pass/cross the ball to benefit the team at all.)

Looks bang on to be fair especially against barca's front 3 milner and navas will offer good protection for the full backs and still be able to get forward, toure needs to be in the team to run at them when space develops plus he will have bodies around him, it would be interesting to see how milner and navas would do on opposite flanks especially as navas cuts in a lot and messi and neymar tend to do this

Love you guys' optimism, just can't help thinking that we've been playing pretty shit for weeks now, and it's going to take something like a Pentecostal visitation (i.e. fire from heaven) for us to give this bunch anything like a serious game. Whatever the permutations of the team. Ah well, 'spose we've got to go on believing as if

Stating the obvious ,we have to take their initial burst of attacking play with the crowd roaring them on. A lone striker and 5 man midfield hoping for a breakaway. The most important thing in the first half hour is not to concede . We can then hopefully grow into the game, especially after one goal of our own ,then anything is possible. If we do not have a man sent off, it could be a result against Barca for the tie. Just hope we don't give them too much respect and play well.
Roaring them on ?

Really, if this game is decided by the players on the pitch, with good and impartial refereeing, then City have a decent chance. But we must have confidence as well as the right game plan - which is down to the manager and coaching staff. Messi and Suarez are probably better than any player in our squad, but the margins are fine and the result is about how the whole team perform.

It's a big ask, but it can be done.

Hahahahaha, in a UEFA competition? Hahahaha.

They've already appointed the most card happy referee they have who is always up for a good blunder against a team famous for its possession, and three of our players on their last yellow before a ban.
