Pride, passion and 110% effort from everyone is all I want tonight.

They give us that and we have a chance of a result and at least walking away with our heads held high and going into the weekend and rest of the season with a small amount of hope.

Come on City!!!

Throw them a curve ball......Kompany playing the role Matic does for Chelsea to break up attacks before they start. Get Navas and Kolarov to lump balls onto Bony's head for 90 minutes!

Edit........and keep 11 men on the pitch!

If we try to defend and hit them on the counter attack we will not win, let alone qualify. Look back at Schalke and PSG. Both looked to attack with all risks carrying and it ended in a positive way. We need to score goals, at least two, and than score one more after getting two. So if we really want get something out of this game l'd gamble and go out all attack. 4-5-1 but the 5 being Milner-Nasri-Yaya-Silva-Navas. Aguero upfront ofcourse. We will concede but we will score as well. 3-2, 4-3 whatever. Show ourselves, risk conceding (we normally do anyway) and just go for it. Anything else will be too predictable and end up in elimination.

Going all out attack with nasri ya ya and silva in the middle will lead to a pretty big beating, barca will have the majority of possesion and most of the game will be played between the halfway line and our 18 yard box, we need two goals in 90 minutes of football, gung ho and little thought about the opposition has hardly worked for us in europe

You play counter attack against them because of the players they have that is all you can do

The obvious thinking and the obvious result. We will not be able to surprise them at all. It will be like the previous 3 meetings the way you think. And that's the main problem.

Clichy banned.

Is Nasri injured? If so will be a big miss.

Nasri is fit unless anything has happened overnight.

I think people are not including him in the side as he can't be trusted to provide us with the performance we need from everyone ( 100% )

Of course we can surprise them. We could play Bony up front on his own with Aguero behind. That would surprise them. We won't but we could.

Zabaleta reckons we can take hope from the PSG and Schalke results.
How about putting in a decent fucking shift instead of clutching at straws.
I see the same shit from our players in the papers week in week out.
It's about time they delivered. Though i suspect it'll be too little, too late.
I hope I'm wrong but i fear another humiliation tonight.
