They are second best team in Europe. Nobody remembers the winners never mind the losers of the Carling Cup/FA Cup/Europa etc. after a season. That's where the competitions have fallen in the English football.
But a CL final. Runners up? What I mean is it'd be something we'd be pretty happy with next season.

We won the FA Cup, big deal. It's about quality rather than quantity in this case. There isn't a person here who wouldn't swap our position for theirs. If they do, they're lying or completely delusional.

If that was our season next season I'd be bloody happy with it. They were never going to beat Barca, and they knew it. Best team in the world by far, but there's no shame in coming 2nd to a team like them.
And I'd take that result next season in the morning.

The shame was coming a distant 2nd - they weren´t in it - got a dodgy off side goal and should have conceded more. Park was what he is and has always been a fookin Duracell bunny - embarrassing . And as for Giggs don´t get me started. Carrick is not even Premiership class imo
I also think that City fans are deleriously more happy than that scum as we speak
