Barclays To End Sponsorship. Who Next?

It'll be a worldwide brand. Barclays is a huge company, but as a brand, I don't think it's actually that big outside of the UK. I can't imagine it being alcohol related. In fact, I didn't think that was allowed nowadays (although now I think about it, Chang beer still sponsor Everton).

Oh God, could you imagine?

The outrage at this would be palatable

I don't know about the overall corporate sponsorship, or how many different levels of sponsorship there may be down the line, but Etihad just last month became the official airline partner of Major League Soccer in the US. So it may not be out of the realm of possibility.

It currently stands at £40m per season iirc.

They may have moved away from it as their name is basically white noise now when it comes to brand recognition with the PL and it would likely cost them a lot more to stay on board.

My money would be on Coca Cola or Pepsi.
