He was woeful today and makes us play at a really slow pace. :/

You mean that same really slow pace which enabled us to beat liverpool 3nil at home when the scousers were passed to death? the 33 pass move ,all slow paced, which led to barry,s goal..what exactly is your point?

Re: BARRY!

No wonder Milner looked pissed when he came off. Complete joke that Barry is in ahead of him. I'm not necessarily a major Milner fan or anything but i'm absolutely sure he'd contribute a lot more to our midfield than Barry does.

This would be a valid claim had Milner had some positive touches in the 60 minutes he was in the game.

I'm not saying Milner was good or anything tonight, he was poor. But he's been played out wide and not in the middle. I think second half he was moved to the AM role in a 3? But that still isn't where we will get the best out of him.

For me he belongs alongside De Jong in the heart of the middle. He has more energy, more mobility and more determination than Barry and that alone should see our midfield improve as I think he's on par with Barry in terms of his footballing ability.

Milner's wasted outwide and I understand his frustration at not being played in the heart of the midfield.

I think anyone who throws a tantrum is gash. Be it Balo, Tevez, Milner or Yaya. And folks should stop judging it differently. If you throw a tantrum, you should be called out for it. Lord knows Balo is better up top than outwide, but no one says that when he throws a tantrum. They just say he is wank for doing so.

If it applies to the goose, it should apply to the gander.

Re: BARRY!

I must have watched a completly different game. The Barry I saw tonight never shyed from a challenge and broke up play, in fact along with Johnson he was one of our better players. I dunno.. maybe i need glasses.

Re: BARRY!

I wished we could win against a harder team away for once. I don't rate Barry compared with De Jong but tactically we really failed and Dzeko... I have no idea.

Everyone seemed nervous or something? Is the FA cup tie weighing down on them?

Can't pass, can't run, can't tackle, can block shots ok, isn't intelligent, tracks back too slow.

But that's ok because he's a "model pro"

Wake up people FFS.

Some of us have been saying this since he came to City! THE most overrated player in the League. Utterly hopeless, he actually makes the team worse because the other players cant trust him to do his job and therefore have to cover for his failings.
He's in the same bracket as Bridge - completely out of his depth..........

Re: BARRY!

His worst performance by some distance - anonymous - he hasn´t been that bad imo and has given us the right balance but tonight he was clueless

You must have done cos Johnson was dire as well. I lost count of the amount of blind alleys he ran down, the times he gave the ball away and the and the general lack of end product
