Its the type of player for them which would enhance their world wide reputation, it would close the gap on Barca and guarantee them premier league. And because they can do what they want getting him into USA would be no problem. England need Joey to replace Gerrard who better that the scum to do that for him as well. Barton would be a good signing for them. Easily better than what they already have. Carrick Fletcher Anderson but Fergie said that's pretty much it from them :) boy I hope so.
