Baseless speculation Iheanacho/Bony

The word 'speculation' in the thread title is perfectly apt. It was a punt at a player that had a good track record for scoring goals in his previous season. I anticipated far much more, so did the club. It didn't work out with our playing style/players the way it did at Swansea, but I don't believe for one minute that anybody could have realistically foresaw this happening.

The very same thing could happen if Vardy or a couple of his club mates move to a different club next season. Hindsight is futile.

Granted he has been inept, but imagine being Bony and trying to score when Navas is your main source of delivery
Kolarov was his main source of delivery yesterday and if Bony could move his arse he'd have bagged a couple in the first half, I'm sure Nacho would at least have made contact with those crosses along the 6 yard line, Bony was more or less stood watching instead of attacking the 6 yard area.

Spot on mate. You can see why we went for him and it hasn't worked out for him, so we move him on. I can understand the frustration we, as fans have in not seeing what we thought we might in him, but some one in the post match thread is now declaring hate, which is beyond stupid

Can anyone remember not when Bony last scored a Premier league goal but when was the last time he had an actual shot on goal (where the keeper had to save it). The guy is totally pointless, he gives nothing, his body language says it all, lazy very lazy. You know we are going to struggle to score whenever he plays so why bother.

There's a fair few who thought it was a terrible signing, me being one.

He won't trust youth players, it's not just Iheanacho.

Silva, we learn, has had an ankle problem throughout the season. Manu Garcia would play better than a struggling Silva and it would give Silva a chance to recover.

We have at least two young centre halves that would be better than Demechelis.

Denayer (Celtic player of the year, young player of the year in Scotland, full Belgium international) gets fucked off on loan so we can spend a fortune on Otamendi.

Marcos Lopes gets sold for £9m so we can spend £44m on the "potential" of Sterling.

If we'd have paid £30m each for Iheanacho, Denayer and Garcia they would be getting plenty of games and the team would be all the better for it.
