I really like the musicians in the doors, the criminally overlooked Robbie Kreiger (sp?) never seems to get a mention in the great guitarists threads. Morrison on the other hand really ruins it for me! He seems to be a crooner spouting gcse poetry.
The Kinks on the other hand are THE quintessential English band. The riff from All Day and all of the Night gets the vote on its own.

When it comes up with options for videos, hold your finger down on it and it should pop up with "Open with YouTube" and "Copy"

the doors are magnificent. i can listen to every album all the way through.
all 4 are masters in their chosen profession and jim morrison is the best frontman ever.
