put many other bands up against the roses, and i probably wouldn't pick them, its just the luck of the draw

Always love the Roses, saw them in June, superb. John squire is a great guitarist and has been clearly inspired by Jimmy page, and it's most evident on the 'Second coming' album.

However, although i enjoy listening to the Roses more nowadays, my head must rule my heart here and vote for Led Zep. True masters of rock through the decades.

Zep are over-rated. Horrible recordings and horrible live group. Oh, and thieves too. Horrid.

In 1968, I went down to Greenwich Village, New York City to a rock club called the Electric Banana. Don’t look for it, it’s not there anymore. But that night I heard a band that for me redefined the word “rock and roll”. I remember being knocked out by their, their exuberance...their raw power — and their punctuality. That band was Britain’s now-legendary Led Zeppelin. Seventeen years and fifteen albums later they’ve earned a distinguished place in rock history as one of England’s loudest bands. But hey - enough of my yakkin’. Whaddaya say? Let’s boogie.

Led Zep

This shouldn't be in the sentence, let alone thread. The intro to 'I wanna be adored' is nothing compared to the intro to 'Achilles Heel'

And obviously the rest.. Since I've been loving you.
