The Stone Roses produced a truly great debut - arguably the best debut ever. And I actually like The Second Coming and listen to it quite a bit. John Squire is an extremely gifted guitarist and Reni is the best drummer of his generation.
But Led Zeppelin are the greatest band of all time. To compare the Stone Roses to Led Zeppelin is like comparing a Ford Focus (Zetec edition) to a Rolls Royce. So it's Led Zep by a thousand million light years. If you voted Stone Roses is this obvious mismatch, your opinion on music is now invalid for the rest of your life.
