I disagree, but Gorillaz are only on their third album whereas Blur had seven - which I've only listened to four of (I do own Think Tank and The Great Escape, though) although I doubt Gorillaz will reach seven before they call it a day so we can never see how they develop musically over the same amount of albums as Blur.

I still prefer Gorillaz, though. I think it's because I grew up with them.
