Strongbow.

I trust you but fear you may be biased.
:-)

Joking aside, if you have any specialist beer shops near you, then go and have a gander in there. Bottle Stop in Bramhall is an absolute booze heaven.

I can heartily recommend a good Kolsch (sp) - a rather nice beer from Cologne (the place, it's not made of aftershave). Only thing is you'd have to get creative yourself in terms of gift wrapping it as it's not a service they offer.

Samual Adams lager, ice cold, served in a glass that has been in the freezer for 20 mins is also a rather nice tipple.

But don't mention this to any of the good folk in Hereford or Clonmel - I'll be hung for treason.

Awesome shop.

Battle of the Draught Lagers - Round 1: Warsteiner v Budweis

Well, after a storming start from the French, they did what they do best and surrendered. The Italians fought back to take a monstrous 20-9 victory.

Peroni is through to the semi finals.

Next up, we have...

Warsteiner v Budweiser

The 3rd Semi Final will be published on Monday. Remember, all votes count until one reaches 20.

Warsteiner, I have never had it but it has to be better than bud
