Quick one for someone who lives there (@bavarian blue also!)
I will need to get from the airport out to my hotel which is on the 512 bus route (15mins from airport) and then into Marienplatz. From the ground back to the hotel after the game I am hoping to just get a cab.

Would I need a Airport-City Day Pass to cover me for my bus out to the hotel, back to the airport and and then train into the main city centre? I fly home Thursday morning so need for anything longer than 1 day.

The AirportPLUS day ticket 16 € (https://www.mvv-muenchen.de/en/tickets-and-fares/tickets-daytickets/airportplus-ticket/index.html) will cover you all day across the entire network. However it will expire at 6 am the next day, so youll need a separate ticket for each day.

They used to do a three day ticket but discontinued it.
