A day trip wouldn't be long enough

If you mean for Munich I agree, I think its down to cost as the hotels are bloody dear. At least there is a trip running for those who can't have time off.

And for those who can't face the hassle of arranging flights and accommodation and transfers. With Spike you know that you just turn up at the airport and everything is done for you. (Apart from the sightseeing/drinking/wandering around during the day) You then get to the match and afterwards you just get on the coach back to the airport. Ideal for the lone traveller as well. I've done it both ways and know which one I prefer. :-)

I notice that the clubs new official travel partners Thomson Sport are slow to get info up for this one. Not a promising start considering the size of the company!

Thomson Sport were apparently stating £365 for the day trip, leaving Manchester at 9.10am. Leaving for the airport after the game but not flying from Munich airport until 6.35 the following morning. So you basically spend the night in Munich airport!! Their website is now saying, with a picture of a linesman with his flag, that you cannot read this page!!

I notice that the clubs new official travel partners Thomson Sport are slow to get info up for this one. Not a promising start considering the size of the company!

Thomson Sport were apparently stating £365 for the day trip, leaving Manchester at 9.10am. Leaving for the airport after the game but not flying from Munich airport until 6.35 the following morning. So you basically spend the night in Munich airport!! Their website is now saying, with a picture of a linesman with his flag, that you cannot read this page!!

I think after the game they take you to a hotel at Munich airport where a "conference room" will be available to rest before going to the terminal and flying out at 6.35 . Not a great start from Thomson's. Spikes trip for me.

Any news on numbers please all my eggs are with Spike Thomson can f*ck right off £365 and its not even their own chartered flight like Spike 7 of us booked ???

The times on that Thompson Flight are identical to the singapore airlines flight, maybe thetve just booked seats on there & doubled the price. £183 when i booked

That's exactly what they have done, it mentions on their web-site that it's the Singapore airlines flight that you will be travelling on
