Tough game until Bayern decided to go mental. They pressed our midfield 3 very well and that put our short passing under pressure. Gundo particularly was struggling but still got into a couple of great positions. When they got on top we defended brilliantly out wide with only Sane being their threat but Ederson was up to the challenge. Felt like they targeted Akanji in the first half but he did great and the game ebbed and flowed.

But then we have so much attacking threat that they just cracked. Rodri's goal was a stunner but the last two were the result of the pressure we put them under. It's relentless and once we got to grips with the second half there was only going to be one winner.

City now perform against the European elite. There is no one we should be afraid to play except Liverpool and Tottenham but that shouldn't be a problem for a season or two.
