How shit were the officials?
nmc said:I'm not enjoying this BT Sports - I don't subscribe to TV channels to have them praise City and say good things about us. I'm switching back to Sky - I'm comfortable with the constant slagging us off and the cheap jibes.
He did mostly okay I think. Shaky at times but there was some sustained pressure. Make of it what you will.NoahCity said:did Boyata do well? was wondering if he may yet have some use seeing as CB is where we still need guys (I would still like to see Pepe brought in regardless though).SuperSilva said:NoahCity said:I didn't see the game, how did we do?
Ref cheated the f*ck out of us from winning... played really good near the end of 1st half and in 2nd half...
Negredo scored for us... we had a lot of great chances and we pushed champs on Europe to the edge!
All in all pleased, with 2.5 weeks before season starts we are going to scare the living hell and pretty much smash a lot of big teams in the coming comps.

Got almost every big decision wrong.

Considering the opposition, every City fan should be absolutely buzzing off thatbr62 said:Navas is just brilliant.....it does not matter which defender tries to mark him as he just waltzes on past them. He is going to terrify defences in the Premier League.
LoveCity said:I'm very happy with that performance. Bayern were very close to full strength, we weren't although strengthened our team in the second half by replacing Barry with Yaya. Navas adds real danger to our team, too. Kompany looked almost the best I have ever seen him tonight, anticipating and acting on everything with perfection. Boyata did well considering the high level of the opposition but should have gotten on to the cross that led to their second goal. Zaba was disappointing though.
Make no mistake, we are behind Bayern and will be for a while but we have the right manager I think and are building a squad that in the future could rival them. I think our squad could still be improved some, but it can't all be done in one window. Garcia and Barry being replaced by a third high caliber midfield option (with the developing Rodwell as the fourth) would help us a lot I think. Fernandinho and Yaya are both top drawer but after them there is a pretty big drop off.
Negredo played very well but lacked a clinical edge until his brilliant goal where he made Javi Martinez look second rate. Jovetic also looked very good again but was a little starved of the ball because Bayern had so much.
Finally, this is twice now we've been to FC Bayern United's ground in the last couple of years and had a positive flow ruined by very dodgy referee decisions. This was just a friendly so doesn't matter too much, but we've been treated like dirt by referees in Europe so far. Wolfgang Stark was very much the German making sure the German club won the German tournament tonight.
