Possibly, I'm just saying that if that had been at the other end every fan on here would have been slating the ref for NOT giving it had he waved play on.
The rules are "possibly" wrong. No they aren't wrong.

His arm is above his head, he clearly handles the ball, almost every ref is going to give a pen for that, deliberate or not.
If you learned the rules first then maybe you could pass judgement on them

1st goal not offside.
No penalty (the German commentator said Zab was clumbsy for not knowing what he was doing... ???).
Loads of descisions going against us.

Yet, in the end is was just a practise match, although I would have loved nicking the Audi-cup away from the arrogant Lederhosen. But that was never going to happen.

Plus: Boyata.

In all, 2 very usefull days. Pellegrini must have learned a lot. As for us fans, a lot to look foreward to in a happy way.

Lots of positives from that game. Jesus, Pellegrini has got a right job on
his hands picking the best eleven from this talented squad. On the basis
of these friendlies, I'd start this team against Newcastle.

Hart

Richards Kompany Lescott Clichy

Fernandinho Y. Toure

Navas Nasri Jovetic

Dzeko

Silva has to start.

nasri above silva what you smoking?

Couldn't see too clearly on YouTube, was that Boyata who let Mario Mandžukić easily outmustle him, and get caught out "on his wrong side" for their second goal?. A big lad like him really shouldn't be bullied so easily

Can't believe people are debating the penalty decision.

99 times out a 100 that's going to be given. His arm was in an unnatural position and wafted the ball out of play. It's a penalty according to all the rules as commonly interpreted. It is why, week in and week out, you do see defenders with there arms lowered and hardly ever see arms flapping about above head height. Defenders don't do that because, intentional or not, if there is ball-hand contact and the hand is raised, it's going to be a penalty.

To be fair the handball decision looked fookin' brilliant compared to the foul he gave against Boyata. Think I shouted more expletives at the ref in this friendly than I usually do in competitive games. That's why refs from country A don't usually referee in games between a team from country A and a team from country B.

Good run out though, the physios and fitness team will have loved the first half and overall we created some really good chances. Bayern dominated possession but with Pep in charge and their midfield you'd expect them too, didn't create much though. Happy despite the result.

Thank you.

rummenigge win at all costs mentaility , dodgy penalty and the german keeper wasting time at the end of the game to win a FRIENDLY. We never looked like conceding until the ref decided to please the home crowd with a gift , Bayern absoluteley toothless up front and they start their season in a week , where as we could have had at least 6 goals tonight , and nearly 3 weeks away from full fitness
Milner man of match , superb performance , our strikers will only get sharper and dzeko and negredo will score a hatful this season , Pellegrini proved his tactical knowledge and but for some poor finishing we would have hammered the european champs on their own patch , cant wait for the geordies in a couple of weeks
