Can we get something like this done at the Etihad? Amazing.

I don't think any of us can predict that. It really is a difficult one to call imo.

Yeah. Should be a good game. I`m having a few Oktoberfest Augustiner`s at 6% to help me sleep. Day off work tomorrow and booked the Wednesday off. Looking for an early afternoon start tomorrow.
Because he was shite.bayern blade said:Breadsnapper said:The bundesliga hasn't got four or five teams that would cut our league. Bayern are and have been dominant over the years because it is a poorer league. No matter what you think Robben was not that good in our league, yet storms yours, Boateng simple could not handle our league and often pulled out of tackles, yet again does well in germany. How many of your team are actually better than what we have? Ribery has only played in the poorer leagues he has never done it in a top league over and over. Doubtless he is a good player but i think in his career he has taken the easy option. Gomez is your main.threat but again will he do it against higher quality defenders?
I guess I am talking uttet crap because I do think your players are inferior to ours.
Boateng hardly had a fair run at City, jury still out. Robben didn't do too badly against your city rivals, neither did Ribery.
Ferguson wanted both of them. Gomez on form would score against anyone.
We have six of the German national team in our usual line up, Germany don't do too badly.

I was on Paulaner bier down my local earlier, I'll be on it before the game too, calm me down a bit !
I wish I could get down to Munich for this one but circumstances dictate that my next games will be Hannover (away) on 23 October and Dortmund (home) on 19 November.
Btw I enjoy the banter on here with you lot, the Bayern fans visiting the site have been made welcome by the vast majority of City fans here.
Let me assure you that is not the case when we play your local rivals (I f##king hate them).

Always injured, not good enough for the EPL but ok for a league with one massive team and a load of dross.
If Rapery, oops sorry Ribery is so good how come he has only played in the Turkish, French and German leagues. Like I said he has taken the easy life.
Fergiescum may have said he wanted them, Mancini no doubt would say he wanted Messi does not mean anything. Bacon chops has not got the money to be buying these players so if he says he wants someone he is talking his usual slurred bolloox.
So just over 50 % of the german team play for you, great and? Are they world cup winners at the moment? No they're not are they? And just under 50% don't play for the german team. Don't bring england not winning anything into it as again it means nothing.
What I do find disturbing and it might just be me, but you slated the so called bayern fans on bayernzone yet you use the same language as them, to quote you we don't want rich foriegn owners. I find this very strange that the "foriegn" aspect is always brought up by you lot, or have I got it wrong and you just don't want rich owners?
I should think so too!

-- Mon Sep 26, 2011 8:56 pm --

bayern blade said:A few quotes from todays German media :
"We know on Tuesday we will be facing a stronger side than Leverkusen. This is a real test for us". Bastian Schweinsteiger.
"Confidence is high, but we know the real tests are yet to come". Phillip Lahm.
"Bayern are on a different level to the rest of the Bundesliga. It's frightening when you see Robben coming off the bench". Rudi Völler - Leverkusen general manager.
"It wasn't as spectacular as in recent weeks, but that was the plan if we went two goals up early on. We have a big CL game on Tuesday against a good side, we stepped down a gear on Saturday as we will need power for 90 minutes against City". Jupp Heynckes.
This is what I mean about your league. There is no way a team in the premier league could do that nor play to full potential. That emphasises how weak the league is.
"He's pretty good. I'm still dizzy". 18 year old Leverkusen debutant Danny de Costa the day after his unenviable job of marking Ribery.

You misunderstood me. I wasn't criticising the fact that you have rich owners at all, each to his own.
Simply saying that I prefer our system but atm it does make it more difficult to compete on a level field.
As for the rest I'm not getting dragged into it mate, I'm in my late 40's, too old to be bothered with the "My dad is bigger than your dad" cobblers.

i would completely ignore that index, we are not in the same league as bayern munich yetCobwebcat said:
