Bayern v City post match thread

MP just on 5 live he thought we had "to win by 3 goals" but we didnt we needed to win by 2 goals if we scored 4.

In a strange way I would rather win that game 3-2 and finish second than go for a fourth and it end up 3-3 and finish second. Okay we may have scored a 4th but if my auntie was my uncle I would have a different cousin I never saw

Not for me. If at 2-3 you offered me a toss of a coin to make it 2-4 or 3-3 I would have gladly taken the risk of a draw for the opportunity to win the group.
The gains would have far exceeded the loss.

If we can beat Bayern in there own back yard and fairly any team at home I don't really care who we get in the second round

Fortunately he's not a kid so will deal with it just fine. It was fucking bizarre though! Imagine if moyes had said that?!

Taken out of context, I think the bit they re-showed was lost in translation. Add in the bit about Silva only being able to play 70 minutes and it makes a little more sense. Either way I couldn't give a shit because we just beat Bayern in the CL at their own ground and if we want to go far in the CL we're going to have to play the top teams anyway.

This.

Beat the Champions of Europe at their place and all some ****s can go on about is a fuckin poorly conducted interview.

***s
+1 quite a lot of sky loving raggy cnuts on here tonight!

In the interview with Milner it seemed obvious the players knew another goal would have won the group so the Cock sucking Rag Bastards at Sky can fuck right off. Shit stirring bastards.

Not so. Hart was taking ages over goal kicks.

Have you suffered a reccent head injury mate?

We've just beat the champions of Europe in their own backyard.
F**k the semantics.

Dunno, it sounded like he fucked up. The subs would suggest so too. It's no skin off my nose, I'm proud of the team and we go into the knockouts with teams fearing us, but people will moan about what the media will say, and on this pellets has made a rod for his own back.

Fuck me, I know you cant ever try to put a positive spin on anything but can you try not to bring everybody down all the time.

Its like you are OCD or probably Aspergers.
How is that bringing anything down? Are you going to point out the posters saying the exact same thing or, as true to form, just me?

It is the fact that you revel in your contrariness and that it so regular that gets on peoples tits. Anyway, at least there is an ignore button you boring bastard. 1st time I have felt compelled to use it.

This nugget was posted at half time in the match thread, I thought it deserved a place in here.

We had a bad 15 minutes, a decent 20 minutes, then a great 10 minutes, followed by an excellent 45 minutes.

Leaderless, headless chickens!

This is almost like the footballing version of the Ashes. Players who are clearly not as good as they think getting outfought and embarrassed in every department.

Lescott, deary me! Retire my friend.
DeMichelis, just why have we bought you?

Richards take the same taxi as Lescott please.

Garcia, words fail me.

Dzeko, you best get the bus as you're too fucking slow to run for the taxi that had a seat with your name all over it.

Seriously though, it is going to take the next 2 transfer windows to sort these 'reserves' out to a level that befits a game in the Capital One Cup never mind the Champions' League.

Truly a awesome night for all City fans, I never ever thought I would see a result like that...........well done guys.............
