Just watched the goal again because during the game I was arguing with a a thick rag friend of mine but how cool was that finish. It seems after I made the moment a while back about needed goals from midfielders they are starting to turn up more a score goals.

I was there and after 15 minutes I was yelling for City to wake up.............. and suddenly they did (nowt to do with my yelling in case anyone thinks I was implying that, one has to be so careful sometimes on this forum). They woke up from their dream, my nightmare and turned it round into my fantastic, wonderful, brilliant dream!!

Not sure if they showed our fans doing the Poznan on TV but it was great. I did get a dirty look from someone on the row in front because I wasn't actually doing it, but if he had seen the size of my ankle and knew the pain in my back he would have understood!!

What a day, bumped in to a few of the Mods, and bowed graciously to them all, every where I went around the Christmas Markets I kept bumping into Blues I knew, it was like a home from home. Well done everyone who managed to make it, including our own illustrious de niro!!

After the day and 2 mugs of Gluwhein I was ready for the match and they didn't disappoint. Wow, just wow, just thank you our 2nd team!!!

I had to come off the forum at 2-0 people were pissing me off. Came back on after the final whistle after watching 1 of the greatest ever comebacks against the best footballing side in the world and they were still at it :(

Sadly No. 'From games between the teams in question' means just our home and away games against Bayern, which would have been level with a 4-2 win. Away goals in those games is the next criteria, and with a 4-2 win, ours would have been 7, whilst Bayern's would have been 6; all meaning, we would have progressed.

The media have been very harsh and hypocritical, yesterday the Guardian were reporting that City needed to win by 3 clear goals,
So, consider the scenario, where we go all out for the 4th goal, and leave ourselves wide open for the counter attack, and probably end up drawing, or even losing, then we'd be criticised for being to gung-ho, reckless, not learning from past games, blah-di-blah.....
Personally, I think we did fantastic, and the moral boost of not only having an away win, but one that humbled the European Champions in their own backyard will give the whole squad a lift and even more belief ahead of the Arsenal game!

That doesn't happen until letter D. In letter B, between Bayern and us, Bayern had the better overall goal difference.
