A draw means if we beat Villarreal and Napoli we still go through with the chance to beat bayern to top it.

A Napoli loss puts us in the same situation except we'd have to beat bayern better than 2-0 since it would go to heads up.

Ys but if we draw and Napoli draw then that means we need to win at Napoli whereas if we draw and they lose then we may need only a score draw at Napoli then beat a Bayern team missing some of their stars. We may not even need to beat Bayern as Napoli winning at Villarreal is no certainty.

A draw for Napoli also means we may have to beat Bayern in the last game whereas possibly a draw would have done had they lost.

A Bayern win is absolutely the best result for us by a mile.

Getting through is the priority. Topping the group is a bonus.

We need to concentrate on ourselves. Really doesn't matter about anyone else. It's still in our hands.

Has to be a Bayern win, and a big win at that.

Goal difference could come into it and Napoli will score a load if they have to against Villarreal in their last home game.

A draw for us at Napoli, albeit a decent result, would put us on eight points, allowing for a win tonight for us.

Napoli would be on six points should they lose against Bayern, following the above scenario.

Meaning a gap of only two points going into the last game. Bayern would have qualified already, having beaten Villarreal in their next home tie.

Regardless, I would not be comfortable going into a final game with Bayern still needing a win.

Bayern winning tonight will give us the breathing space to at least allow for the above.

Yeah, we struggled in our one match against one of europes elite, therefore our form is really dire

plus only three away wins against top half Premier Lg teams in 14months.

Yes, we are much better this season but we still have a lot to improve on. In the CL we look very naive and quite nervous (this in our home games as well as the one away game we've played).

We have put a few wrongs right this season (beating Spurs, Everton, scoring more goals, scoring late goals, coming from behind to win, winning at a big club's ground). What we still need to put right is our European away form.
