My point is that after these atrocities instead of sympathizing with the victims and their families and allowing time for the full facts to emerge , there are too many ( including sections of the media) who are too quick to ignore the suffering and simply use the tragedy to feed their political agenda BEFORE the full facts are known.
It was the same after the Jo Cox murder when a number of remainers were more interested in what the attacker shouted when he committed the crime so as to discredit the leave campaign.

But you can't expect people not to reflect on broader political repercussions when things like this happen, especially once the full facts do emerge. I agree with you though that the points scoring is pretty reprehensible. If the discussion isn't an evenhanded one then it's effectively worthless.
