the thread title has been edited (not by me)
it originally said Stretford utd receive 4 yr FA cup tv deal
meant to be a bit of fun-poking.

You aren't wrong mate.
Mark Bullingham, the FA's chief commercial and football development officer, said Manchester United's fifth-round win at Chelsea was the most-watched domestic match of the season, with an audience of 8.1 million people.

Some mods getting a bit twitchy about offending lurking rags.

"Barbara Slater, director of BBC Sport, said: "We are delighted to have secured these FA Cup rights until the 2024-25 season, ensuring the millions that tune into free-to-air TV can continue to enjoy the most famous domestic cup competition in the world."

Nooooooooo, Barbara! We can only enjoy it if we mute the sound. As part of the four year deal are you gonna give the people who pay your outrageous salary the option of just having 'crowd' noise! And while we're at it, can you jettison Danny Murphy from our screens.

Free to air? No paid for TV licence required?

It says this deal has an increased number of live matches on bbc, up to 18 per season. Anyone know what that is an increase from? How many on the current deal?

English, French or Arabic?
11,12,13 are English boss. Full of everyones fav misogynistic pundits and "old skool" thinkers.

Do you ever watch it? to be fair they are pretty good and debate stuff that many are reluctant to broach. I can only imagine though after work the chatter at the bar would cross numerous lines.
