i dont care if they want to waste their time and money. the empty stadium at eastlands speaks volumes about our style of play, i dont think i'll even attend all the games at home.i'm still in the cup scheme i just wont go as often.

Empty stadium? Our attendances are the highest for years! Bar the first couple of seasons at the new stadium id hazard a guess that our average attendance is the highest in my lifetime (30 years)

in the league maybe, the cups though have been dire, despite the club doing everything it can to entice people to the games.

No they haven't, they have been pretty much the same (if not higher) as the past 20 seasons and considering we have had so many to buy, I think they have been OK. Have to admit I was disappointed with the Reading attendance, then you look back to the quarter final v West Ham a few years ago and realize that it is in line with our cup attendances over the years.

Again, you have never liked Mancini even if you did start to sway for a while. No matter who we have there will always be this division amongst the fans regarding the manager, cant ever remember it being as bad as it is now.

In ratio to the profile of our club attendances have dropped. despite our success we are not the same manchester city we were 5 years ago so comparing our attendances to then wont tell the whole story. however im sure you knew that and completly ignored it.

What are you on about? Ratio to the profile? I've heard it all now.

it was a lot worse with hughes, he got it before we kicked a ball, mancini has had a fair crack of the whip in the fans patience. i think the fencesitters are turning against him cos he's simply wasting the fantastic talent we have in squad. he's no lemon but surely he must see his tactics are just not working.
if he does and wakes the fuck up he could save his job and our season.

What did you expect though with Hughes and his affiliation with a certain club? He was detested by most City fans (and I mean detested!) during his playing days, he was never going to be the right appointment. In fact thinking about it, this is where the divide actually started, people who would never accept him against those who wanted to give him a chance. Now its vice versa but with Mancini.

The tactics werent even that bad on Sunday. We did well in the first half and matched Chelsea, unfortunately we faded and then they started opening us up. What would you have done differently?

not much actually, well except as we were so "tired" having tried to salvage the kiev tie due to an inept performance over there i would have brought the subs on earlier.

as for hughes you have proved my point about the so called fans on here.cos hughes played for THEM he wasn't welcome, i know people on here wanted him to fail just to get rid.at least mancini has been given a fair crack of the whip, he has been judged on his management ability rather than who he has played for.
pathetic.

as this post states i warned people that this would end in tears and tears we have, by the bucket load.
its a crying shame that the players we have to perform like dancing bears rather than use what gods given talent they process.

We only have tears amongst a few on here, and lets be honest, this site doesnt do well in representing true match going fans. Mancini's name gets sung loudly every game, at Aris half an hour after the match he walked across the pitch with Vicky Kloss and every City fan was singing his name. Theyre the true fans. Have you ever read the matchday threads on here whilst a game is on? Look back at some of them, thats what we're dealing with here! I dont see what the fuss is personally. We are on the verge of an FA cup final (first time in 3 years) and our best placed finish in the top flight since god knows when. Why the tears? Lets try and enjoy it, the season could end so well and if the fans get behind the team that might just sway it in our favour.

Hughes wasn't the right manager, Mancini isn't looking like he is.

Mancini not performing doesn't make Hughes any better, it just makes Roberto look worse.
