be careful of what you wish for

No but when we went 2-1 up at home they were there for the taking (even a rag at work admitted that) and we could and should have put the tie nearly to bed in the first leg. But alas we came out for the second half and went into our shells, and as they say the rest is history!!!

As much as I dislike them, anyone who thinks the rags are ever "there for the taking" is a fool.

Y

Tell that to Wolves, Chelsea and Liverpool then! All have beaten them this season when the rags were not at their best.

I've said this before and no doubt I'll say it again but football is biased towards the positive teams. 3 points for a WIN and 1 point for a draw. The changes in the offside law, the outlawing of dangerous tackles. Most money for football is generated by TV revenues and that revenue is dictated by viewing figures. Most neutral viewers want entertainment and excitement. Any future rule changes will therefore almost certainly be changes to favour attacking teams. It's sheer folly to adopt negative tactics.

What I find sad about this thread is the fact Shadygiz and that Tolmie guy are almost creaming their pants cos we got beat so they can spout their anti Mancini rubbish. Let's face it, you've never given the guy a chance and given the slightest opportunity can't wait to tell anyone that will listen. You sound almost pleased that we have lost 2 games.

this is bang on, when the usa take over football as a going concern the first thing will be the moving of the goalposts, literally. they will make the goals bigger on day one.

Time of the month?

kind of the point abit ........................... BUT when i was really young i said i wish i broke my arm, the next day playing football i did!!! So much wish came true, pretty freaky. Bob Manc to stay but if we dont finish 4th I have no qualms with looking elsewhere.

If Mancini stays next season , we will know how many are here for MCFC and how many are here for scintillating football.

a question for the mancini outers

what would you think about the owner IF he confirm mancini for the next season ?

i would applaud them, it would save me a fortune as i would go nowhere near an away game.

Clearly shows what some people are here for.

He obviously has a short memory, we have won 6 away games so far this season in the league, only Arsenal have won more. On the bright side it gives some of the people whinging about not being able to get to away matches the chance to build up loyalty points.....

i dont care if they want to waste their time and money. the empty stadium at eastlands speaks volumes about our style of play, i dont think i'll even attend all the games at home.i'm still in the cup scheme i just wont go as often.

Empty stadium? Our attendances are the highest for years! Bar the first couple of seasons at the new stadium id hazard a guess that our average attendance is the highest in my lifetime (30 years)
