Apparently the initial investigation was done by the Fraud squad after numerous tip offs regarding Bebe "Falsely impersonating a footballer".

This case collapsed as they said that in fairness to Bebe they had watched lots of videos and couldn't see any behaviour by him that could be misconstrued as an impersonation of a footballer.

They did unearth some dodgy documents though in the process.

£7.4 million for a player baconface (or anyone else at the swamp) had never seen, even on youtube. just a matter of weeks after guimaraes signed him from a minor club for peanuts, never having played in a competitive match for them, and they sold him onto the rags for a massive profit. even bent 'arry has never done a deal as bent as that one.

I don't know why it's taken so long for this to be investigated. Everyone knew almost from the beginning that something was amiss with this deal.
