Before the money arrived what was your City ambition?

My ambitions were similar to steps of progress i had for the club.
Step 1: Qualify for the Europa League.
Step 2: Get as far as possible and make a consistant presence as a top 6 club by qualifying again the season after.
Step 3: Use all money generated from league/cup finishes to purchase better players and make a crack for the top 4.
Step 4: Finish in the top 4.
Step 5: Repeat steps 2-3 except in the Champions League setting.
Step 6: Become title contenders.

I believed this would take the major part of my City supporting life to see the club get to step 5, but HH has slashed that time by 20 years.
 
From Jan 1st 2007 til end of season hoped for a City goal at home....
At the derby match in April/May 2007 (Ronaldo pen) (pre Thaksin) as all the scarves were held up I said to my daughter,imagine what this club would be like if we had serious money....(true story on her life) so I suppose a level playing field with the big boys and a huge investment later I can honestly say my dreams have already come true,but the first trophy will bring tears to my eyes of that I am sure.....
 
im 50 thisyear an have a dodgy ticker. so mine was to see us win something be4 i kick the bucket,and it still is
 
My City ambition was for us to have all our luck in one go. IIRC, Liverpool who are/were a Club with Money went all the way to the FA Cup Final being drawn against lower league opposition. I wanted that for us and then to perform on the day.

this may be boring but its the same as it is now, turn up, put a shift in, make me proud.
everything else is pure bonus.

Multi-pourers at the bars

Chicken nuggets and/ shepherds pie as grub options

Fingers crossed eh boys!
 
I said in 2003 in five years we will be right up there chasing the Rags. Apologies, I was wrong by two years. Never expected the money though to overtake them. Happy Days.
